About Us
Linda Rose Machado and Augustus Machado established the Kiara Empowering Futures Foundation with the goal of providing lesser than the less fortunate children with equal opportunities and educational support. In addition to academics, the foundation is dedicated to the holistic development of these children through counselling, yoga sessions, and interactive activities. By fostering confidence and equipping them with essential life skills, Kiara Foundation empowers these children to face the world with optimism and determination.
Linda Rose Machado – Founder
Linda Machado has spent most of her working life working for charities in the slums of santacruz and Malad. She has worked with leprosy and TB patients, upliftment of two slums Golibar and Malvani. The latter years she worked towards empowering women through SHARE which changed the lives of over 500 women and their families. With Kiara she focusing on Education of the less fortunate children and is driven to work with HIV positive girls.
Augustus Machado – Co-founder
Gus Machado, a seasoned CEO, NED, and Angel Investor, brings over 30 years of experience in driving growth and performance in technology-focused organisations in the UK. Beyond his professional achievements, he is actively involved in various UK charities focused on health and development. His philanthropic spirit is evident in his establishment of a scholarship in his mother’s name to Kiara Empowering Futures Foundation.
Raynah D’souza – Director
Raynah D’souza is a Learning Leader at McDonald’s Corporation, shaping the future of 14,000 global restaurant leaders through innovative training programs. As part of Hamburger University’s L&D team, she contributes to strategic initiatives, curriculum development, and talent development. Raynah leads a team of skilled facilitators and is recognized for her engaging speaking style and commitment to coaching and mentoring. Her certifications as a Professional Coach and PHR, along with the prestigious McDonald’s President’s Award, underscore her dedication to excellence and employee development
